this song just hits me right in the feels.
a lot of nautical references, as "Fiddler's Green" was a depiction of heaven for British Sailors since about the mid 19th century
But it's about Gord's nephew who died young of a heart defect, while the Hip were putting together their second album.
the band never played it live for over 15 years after its release
