I like Squeeze, unless Paul Carrack is singing. Good pop songs. They had a relationship with a classic movie theater in my area, doing yearly shows there (I think some Christmas shows too) but I never made it to see them.

This is an odd song but I always kind of liked it.

Sounds like there were some allegations to that effect...

Off record, Browne is faced with surviving some bad publicity as well--there were allegations that he battered Hannah in an incident last year at the Santa Monica home they once shared. Pals such as Don Henley and J. D. Souther jumped to his defense, but Browne remained silent, and says he wants to avoid dignifying the reports by commenting directly on them even now. This album, he maintains, isn’t his indirect attempt at having a day in court.

Good tune, I'd put it at #2 behind The Heart of Rock and Roll. That sax solo gives it the edge to me.

Future wife and I were driving in LA, switching between radio stations looking a song to land on, and Huey was one of the choices.
Future wife asks "what do you think?"
I replied "I'm happy to be stuck with Hugh", and thought it was the funniest thing ever.

I got an eye-roll out of it.
Tough crowd.



That was the same trip that Gary Busey chased us down the PCH, for miles. Was the strangest thing ever. For some ridiculous reason, like our gas cap lid was open, or he liked our car, just something so stupid. For miles...

There have been two voices that consistently give chills up my spine. Chris Cornell and Johnette Napolitano.
