Spirits in the Material World is a great tune, but Every Little Thing She Does is Magic is my favorite...

Can’t go wrong with either of those or Invisible Sun

Gwen Stefani (54 candles) - I prefer the original by Talk Talk, but hey this video is pretty good.

It's probably the Canadian in me that says Burton Cummings should be in that top 10...

30 years ago, the Afghan Whigs released Gentlemen.
My favourite album of all time. In a word, it's raw.

Three years ago today we lost Eddie - Van Halen was always better with David Lee Roth than Sammy Hagar, but I have always liked this tune...

So good. They played the full album on rock 101 last night (release was oct 6). Think i heard cost to produce was 150k. 30k of that was album cover artwork.

These guys from Charlottetown PEI didn't seem to last very long, but this was played quite often on MuchMusic...

Glam rock is NOT dead.

This band won something called "Eurovision" and made some noise on Alternative radio with a song called "Begging". This is another of their songs and it just has a relentless funk to it. It's been stuck in my head since I first heard it.

Warning, some NSFW lyrics and the bass player's nipples inside her jacket are only covered by electrical tape. She frequently lets them fly, if you are so inclined to go search for other performances by them and are into such things.

Theyre Italian. Theyre young kids but they play an “old”sound. The Italians are confused by them lol. Its kind of like they are caught between music generations with older people liking their music but not being sure if they should be listening to a band of 22 year olds.
Probably the most celebrated italian band globally even in their infancy. When they were nominated for a grammy, italians were like “oh americani like them?”

By the way, I can get on board with young bands with an old sound. This blew me away when I first heard it.
