Spreading the "joy". I did not really like the original but this is just word salad.

anyone ever heard of Cold Chisel?

I referenced this song with the guys I played hockey with last week, and no one had heard of it.
This is a group that includes all manner of people in the music business - producers, musicians, sound guys, music reporters, tour managers, etc. and it wasn't ringing any bells.
Some had heard of Jimmy Barnes, because he had a stint with INXS later on.

In Australia, Jimmy Barnes (with Cold Chisel and solo) has more number one albums than the Beatles.
largely invisible outside of Oz and NZ

Never heard them. I do know Jimmy Barnes. I saw him open for somebody back in the 80’s. ZZ Top Afterburner tour maybe.

I only really knew “Too Much Ain’t Enough Love”

Sirius XM hit me with this one while out grocery shopping.

Awful video for a great song.

Then about an hour later they hit me with the other member of Bauhaus with his post split work of art.

on this day n 1969, Black Sabbath went into studio and recorded their debut album.
you read that correctly. a single 12 hour recording session in a London studio.
they went to Switzerland the next day and played a show for 20 pounds.

Alan Jackson (63 candles) - Not the biggest country fan by any means, but I always liked this tune...

This band is Canadian, trying not to hold it against them, but I kind of like the song.

This band is Canadian, trying not to hold it against them, but I kind of like the song.

They have a lot of catchy stuff.
I saw them open for The Glorious Sons, and I think they took a few people off guard at how good they were.
Within a year, they came back through on a headlining tour.

A couple of sisters, a friend from kindergarten, and I think the newest member to the group met them in grade two or something like that.
