VCU's (likely) final four appearance really gives credence to the tournaments decision to expand the tourney to 68 teams. They most likely wouldnt even be in the tourney if it was still at 64. They sorta remind me of the Flyers last year.

That's an excellent point. The NCAA takes a lot of flak, deservedly so, but they can crow about this one for a while.

I don't like the way this game has started out. UNC is cold and playing sloppy. They go through spurts like that all the time, so hopefully they'll pick it up here soon. Fortunately, UK hasn't been making a ton of shots, either.

Meh, that was a bullshit charge on Barnes. I can't really complain, because UNC is usually on the positive end of those sorts of things. In my mind, though, the charge is a blight on college basketball. The refs are generally WAY to eager to call them, when they are very rarely deserved.
