ah yes..... Hockey. it keeps me interested then I watch all the other events which I have come to really enjoy... except the fucking 100000000 mile cross country ski, shoot, ski shoot ski shoot ski shoot. how the hell do you get excited for that

Here's that blind dude's target..... from 70m away, holy shit.

the lone CDN competitor ended up 8th for seeding. Not bad, considering it's a basically match-play elimination going forward.
Avoid those three Koreans for as long as possible.

Do people in modern countries (Canada) get to watch the opening ceremony live or are you stuck having to watch it tape delayed like here in the stone age.. err.. US?

If there's one thing I absolutely hate about the Olympics is the US TV coverage. It's fucking pathetic. They mostly only show US athletes in prime time.

Sure you can watch some live stuff here and there on one of the million NBC channels but it's usually not that great.

Unless this year is going to be different... I'll go check the TV schedules and prepare to be disappointed again, like always.

That sounds like it's live but not sure.

In the US, they're showing it at 7:30PM EST *and* 7:30PM PST so it's super awesome for those of us on the West coast... /sigh

Time Warner Cable as a company blows (as do most cable companies), but they added a channel here dedicated to all soccer all the time. I watched five different matches from the time I got home to went I called it a night.

Not sure the announcers for the Morocco Honduras game, but they were entertaining.
