well, it's a start.
Saudi Arabia brings female athletes for the first time, but makes them walk well behind the men.
I think I heard that Mitt blasted British PM Dave Cameron for what he perceived as not enough security at Olympic venues. Cameron responded that it's a little more difficult in London than in the "middle of nowhere" (meaning Salt Lake City).
Oh you better believe it's on.
I don't know when NBC is planning on showing the ceremony, but when they decide to get around to airing it, I will look for this
thanks
Looks like NBC coverage starts at 7:30pm.
well that was an underwhelming opening ceremonies. It wasnt terrible but it was just kinda blah.... had some cool moments. I loved the lighting of the Cauldron. Ive always liked the idea of the younger next generation lighting it after being passed on from the heroes of old. the queen/bond thing was um awful. the entire opening sequence running down the thames was really poorly done and seemed REALLY rushed. the cgi helicopter at the start was really noticeable and that statue of winston churchill coming alive to wave at James Bond was a WTF moment.
the childrens choirs were great as was the tribute to GOSH. but the giant monsters rising out of the beds to be thwarted by 50 mary poppins was something that may visit me in my dreams tonight. lol
Id give it a 6 out of 10

The Brits should have taken a minute to thank Frank Drebin for saving the Queen years ago.
I have a feeling Mr. October was kept far away from these proceedings?

Guess I'm watching reruns.

what the FUCK am I watching?
I was amazed when they used the coachella tupac hologram to recreate lady di in the passenger seat of a car as it crashes into a pole and then explodes
Then the pole catches alight and the cauldron on top fires up
Simply amazing
11 out of 10 in my books
Is it wrong that I believe that actually happened?
