Ooops, I meant to quote the Olympic sports parody in my post, not the Spain unifroms article. Btw, Puck, the article mentions some YouTube videos about equestrian including...

"So, you think equestrian is easy?" Looks a lot like the first video, but was created by a different person. Hover text reads, "You tell me it takes no skill." Man, again: where are all these equestrian haters? I've only met a) people who don't know what equestrian is, and b) people who know of equestrian and are entirely apathetic.

So true, most people could care less and the comments from the video are hilariously defensive ("yes all very true. somebody once told me not one bit of effort is put into horse riding. Everytime someone doubts equestrianism i will show them this vid"). Pun intended? Haha. But the best is from a guy who clearly just read the SBNation article and is mocking...

I used to go out with a real ‘horsey’ girl. At first I thought it was quite cute- I would watch her riding & jumping at weekend events, & the gear she wore (jodhpurs, crop etc) served as a good aphrodisiac.

However, things soon got a bit weird & I had to split up with her- more & more time was spent with her ‘other half’. Eventually she tried to persuade me to wear a horses-head mask (complete with reins & bit for my mouth) for lovemaking purposes. This freaked me out & I ran out the house.

Lmao.

Tough day for Spain's economy. They need to get their groove back. Are there any more soccer things they can win?

I don't think that person was capable of phrasing that in a cooler way...

the little kid crying at the end is awesome. you meet your hero is one thing but to meet them in a surprise moment like that is like nothing they will ever ever forget in their life. I love it. like or dislike Beckham he really did good in his interaction with those people.

no doubt ... alot of his countrymen love him ... the dude is all about charisma and grace ... and presence ... most importantly his own ... closest thing to a **** star the global sports world has ... he's got it and he flaunts it ... great salesman ... like just before tsn was going to interview him post game after the galaxy played the caps ... he sees the fans congregating and off goes his shirt (lol) ... and then tsn has a video problem and it doesnt make it to air lol

/wish he would take some time out of his busy schedule and sell the MLS though

I liked the kid crying too. not because of any emotional stuff, but just because I don't like British people.

Also it could just be that the kid has come to the life realization that unless he becomes a pro soccer player, he'll be cursed with horrific teeth

well, Vadered had to know this was coming.....

You could have at least made an Olympic-related comment...

I'd like to get inside her Olympic ring.
I wouldn't mine shooting an arrow at her bull's eye.
Man, would I love to play a little badmitton with her!

Okay, admittedly the last one doesn't really work.

The Summer Olympics just don't seem to do it for me the way the Winter Olympics do. Possibly because I like hockey and skiing and dislike track and field? Maybe because women in the Winter Olympics are typically more attractive (mainly because they are not built like linebackers)? Or maybe it's the thrill of somebody potentially dying in just about every event that keeps me tuned in? Summer Olympic events need a higher risk of death, like an alligator pit around the balance beam.
