I'm just gonna drop it. I've had a shitty day. My brother has fucking cancer right now and found out he has to go through chemo so I'm ultra sensitive and annoyed and in a bad mood. Maybe I'm reading to much into things or maybe I'm not.

That said, IPW - I don't think people should tell other people multiple times to end a thread - just don't fucking post in it. You did that twice. If you don't like the topic, don't post. God knows you're the last person on here that should be giving people advice on posting things that are not related to hockey, though I generally enjoy your posts and find you hilarious most of the time.

Anyhow, shitty day. Just wanted to chat about Lebron James and asked people that hated the NBA to not participate. I figure we are hockey fans first, but most of us appreciate and enjoy other sports. What happens? Some good discussion, but a bunch of people bitching about the fucking NBA. We fucking get it - it's garbage, it's stars are all selfish, hockey is superior in every way, and Americans are ignorant and stupid and that's why they watch it.

Most of the time I'm happy go lucky, but when I get pissed, I get PISSED, and this thread has PISSED me off.

I really enjoyed the posts from Honus, P66, D'stone, Naslund, Evolver, Jstew, and some others, even if I didn't always agree with them.

But I tire of comments that are disrespectful to me and thought they were unnecessary. I come on here to enjoy conversation and hear perspectives, not to be disrespected. I will not fucking tolerate it.

Here's my take.

Eloco misinterpreted a joke, which is what started this. Then he explained the extenuating circumstances over why he reacted the way he did. In my mind, this is resolved, so you both can just let it go now. Please.

I never said everyone. In fact, I said most people made good posts, thanked them for it, and was very specific about what annoyed me.

And if people can make remarks about ending threads or people posting to hear themselves "talk" and I feel they are directed at me, because, well... they were. I can sure as shit respond.
