Was asking about NFL Network because they're broadcasting the Chicago-Spokane AFL game tomorrow night. And if I got lucky, my face might be shown on TV for a nanosecond while I'm in the press box.:)

Remember me when you are famous!

I was all over TV when the Queen of England watched a game at Camden Yards. Like always I was in the cheap seats and there were tons of Irish protesters behind me.

I thought it was funny because of the Naked Gun movie, how Reggie Jackson of the Oakland A's was trying to kill her. At the time in Baltimore it was the A's vs the Orioles and Jackson was a coach.

There's like a 0.000000000001% it'll happen. With all the offense at an arena game, why would they show the PA press box?:)

And that is awesome about the Queen! But why was she at a baseball game?

I dont remember exactly why she was, it was around 1990 or so. Both teams shook her hand before the game which was funny (to me) because of Reggie Jackson and Bill Ripken, who was always up to something.

The cheap seats were packed but they were all gone by the second inning.

Hey Brian, I think you'll appreciate what 4706 and I have been doing in the 3-word thread.

The Pirates lost. I shouldn't have booked it. Axford is a heck of a closer, though.

There are 11 posters with at least 100 posts in this thread alone. Epic.

Or sad, depending on how you look at it.

The glass is half full, Brian. Half full.

Smoak is batting under .200 this month, despite going on that 5 for 6 tear (or whetever it was)
that's a pretty empty rest of the month!

He's still adjusting. And as a power hitter getting his first taste of the Majors, that's going to happen. He'll go on a tear soon and start really crushing the ball. Then he'll slump. Then he'll streak. It's what young players do.
