All Oregon needs is to beat Oregon State and have USC beat Notre Dame and Florida State beat Florida and we're right back in the mix. And I'm still irate over the missed false start on Stanford's 4th and 1 with 1:40 left. Also, according to the rules, I still don't think that last TD should have counted. Ertz was bobbling it as he hit out of bounds. Watch the replay. OK, that's all. Won't be back until next week most likely, Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow U.S posters and happy weekend to everyone!

Thanks dash. Quick pop in. And not taking anything away from Stanford. They played awesome D and our offense didn't execute when we needed to. Just disappointing the officials couldn't make the right calls all game, both ways. And our D didn't get nearly enough credit for the way it played as well.

For the first time in a long time, I'm NOT bored. Having a geat time in Michigan. Being here is reminding me more of how much I hate living in KY. Wanna quit my job and stay here. PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK!!!

Here is a brief list of things that I forgot were things since moving to the midwest where they aren't a thing:

- Self appointed traffic regulators. People who drive in the left lane at 1 MPH over the speed limit until you try to pass them when they will speed up and kill anyone on the road in order to keep you behind them.
- Optional Stop signs.
- The traffic rule that allows you to stop when you are confused until you figure it out. Seriously, THREE times I have seen someone just STOP in a travel lane including one time where the guy got out, went into the trunk and got his map book.
- Entire store transactions that get completed without a single word spoken. 3 out of 4 yesterday without so much as a "thank you", and the one that had human interaction was picking up pizza at my wife's cousin's pizza joint.
- Nothing getting in the way of your conversation, including store aisles. Was in a grocery store and someone in the next aisle yells out "Hey, what kinda beans we need?". Guy next to me yelled back "Lima".

My mustache is curling at the ends now, and I have a Deviant Dale's India Pale Ale. Good day.

Except for the whole working on my presentation for inorganic thing.

One of my best friends in law school grew his mustache out and actually starting buying mustache wax to curl the ends. It was awesome. Several of us took a trip to Vegas and at the airport we had a long delay before we left. We found a Cincinnati Reds hat with the following logo on it...

We bought it for him and he wore it for most of the trip. The sight of his curly mustached face with a hat that also had a curly mustached face on it was fucking hilarious.

Unrelated note, I watched the entire Caps-Pens 24/7 series today. It was so fun to relive those times, but it made me REALLY sad that we don't have hockey right now.

Figure it out, idiots. Compromise isn't that hard when your goal is a manageable deal instead of trying to be "the winner" of the negotiation.

That's kind of awesome.

There's a barbershop within walking distance from my house who have a Tuesday special for a haircut and straight razor shave for under $14 for students. After I'm Santa, I plan on going there, telling them to leave the mustache, and then asking for their smallest thing of wax so I can curl it for real.

I'm not a fan or a hater of Notre Dame, but a better college fight song you will not find. I particularly like the vocal version...
