I should change my avatar. But I'm too lazy right now.

OKC leads Charlotte 64-24 at the half...AT THE HALF.

/What's the NBA record for fewest points in a half?

I don't know, but I'm willing to bet it belongs to the Grizzlies.

That reminds me of when Portland led San Antonio 49-18 after the first quarter way back in 1990.

:pizza: for Darkstone - Ah yes, the Clippers, how can we forget how bad they used to be?

Please, Brian, I think Billy Crystal has had plenty of pizza over the years. Especially since he probably needed to drown all his sorrows, and there's not enough alcohol in the world to drown the sorrows of Clippers fandom...

I got asked to write a recommendation letter for one of my students. This is the first time, a milestone of sorts in my teaching career.

If a sub par student asked for a recommendation, would you refuse or would you write a scathingly honest letter?

I would probably warn him or her beforehand that I was unimpressed with his or her work, and that my letter would likely reflect that to at least give him or her a chance to find someone else to write a letter.

Also, palindrome post! 21212! :nerd:
