I like your beard.
Appreciate it fellas, you're a grand group.
Yessir! I like that one a lot! Haven't heard the rest of the CD, putting it on my "to buy" list though.
impressive that he held the ball.
Cards fans were all calling this bush league. I'd call it your basic everyday plate collision. On another note. After that game Yadi said "Yeah, I'm good, no concussion. Just a headache, a really bad headache." *blank stare*
I agree with you.
I just wish they'd make the rules for home the same as for every other base. These collisions are career killers sometimes. Unnecessary.
I'm not sure how they change it...I mean, in softball you have to slide.
Well, as a fielder, you can't block the base... just like at every other base on the field. You have to give the runner an opportunity to touch the base. Just like as a runner at every other base on the field, you can't interfere with the fielder playing the ball.
So changing the rule is simple... you already use the rule at 3 other bases.
Home plate in baseball is so weird to me. It's the equivalent of saying in hockey... "You can't elbow or cross check guys... except below the end line, then it's okay."
Ahh, right. Blocking the base. Gotcha.
Man, I should have had a lot more stolen bases if fielders aren't allowed to block the base. I slid into a lot of shins in little league through high school ball...
On another note, I got an email from a student today with three all-caps words and two smiley faces. There were also way too many compliments.
It made me uncomfortable.
science minds.,,,, is this true?
was she purdy?
The couple things in there I know about are true, and that leads me to trust the rest well enough.
Irrelevant. Human interaction makes me uncomfortable in general, and the pushier said interaction is, the worse I feel about it.
I admire this guy for standing by his principles (it's a shame that the principal didn't stand by him).
