Dunno about Upton, but they tossed him from the dugout, then he tried to sneak back on field (according to Greg Brown).

I don't know why Upton got tossed, and neither did he, so he asked the first base umpire, saying, "What did I do?" according to my lip reading, the umpire said something I couldn't see his lips because his back was turned, but it was sufficient for Upton, who said, "Alright," and jogged back to the dugout.

The Orioles did something neat and/or goofy tonight. 23 years ago today needing a fresh pitcher they promoted journeyman and local boy Dave Johnson who pitched a complete game and got them a key win which was also the first win in his career. Today they started his son Steve. He pitched 6 good innings and it looks like he will get his first win.
