Storm coming. I like storms, but not when it's dark and I'm alone and I hate the dark and I need my fan man!

Hammer was in rare form. 1-2-3 and three strikeouts. Raise it!

2.5 back of the Reds (who have lost 4 in a row now). Man I wish we had gotten 1 more W out of that series.

One more game in the series. Saunders vs. Rodriguez. Battle of the lefties.

Meant the Reds series. But yeah, tomorrow should be interesting. I think Wandy will enjoy the confines of PNC...a lot nicer than the launchpad in Houston and Cincy. Lefties are good for Cutch at least. And Walker did well against one tonight (...he was a lefty right?). I just know Walker is better from the left side of the plate.

Best CF in baseball

Trout or McCutchen

Right now? Cutch. In a few years it may be Trout. But we're not seeing the peak of Cutch by any means. If there's a hole in Cutch's game it's baserunning/some defense. His speed allows him to get away with mistakes in both, but as he continues to learn (which he will), he'll quickly become one of the top players in the game...which he already is. Man, we Pittsburghers are spoiled with disciplined athletes. Cutch treats the offseason like Sid does. Finds a hole in his game, fills it, and perfects it. Reading how Cutch treated this past offseason was a thrill as a fan. He forced himself to watch every postseason game, and stood up and pretended to be at bat to time the pitches. He also completely changed his swing. It's amazing.

Speaking of baseball, did you all hear an intern running the music for a minor league baseball team was tossed by the ump for playing "three blind mice" after a close call at first?

This is awesome...

eloco, help me out here with scoring:

K - strikeout swinging
backwards "K" - strikeout looking

how do you score a DJ ejected?
