Yeah, sorry. I've been busy at work and just haven't been in the thread as much. I guess I'll have to fire it up a few times when we hit "I'm Bored - Part July"

Yeah, same here. I gotta go try to find a house for a ski trip and then some zzzzzzz's.

Hey, not what we wanted tonight, but they looked better. I care less about the results this time of year as HOW they play. That was the first good game they've played in weeks and in the 2nd and 3rd I finally saw a team that looked less confused, even if there were still mistakes and uncertainty at times.

The more I'm think about it, they gotta change up the second line. No physical presence and ZERO net presence. Need to get Brouwer or Knuble in the mix there. Perreault doesn't solve those problems either, but I think he could spark the 4th line. Is it me, or is Hendricks not looking as good/slower this year? Hopefully we see some changes. We can't continue to get no production from that 2nd line. And the 4th line needs to chip in once in a blue moon as well.

yep. Semin changed from LW to RW when he played with Laich, and now he doesn't want to move back to LW. Frustrating because Brouwer can play LW, but they seem to like him on the top line while Knuble really can't play LW. Hendricks played well early on, but his play has kind of lacked recently, not that badly, but he hasn't been as noticable as he should be. Honestly, I think Eakin gets sent down when Beagle is healthy, but that might be awhile. Idealy with the players they have on the team:

Yeah, I know. Pairing Orlov with Green could be very risky, but remember what I was talking about protecting Greenie pre-season? Orlov is definatley fast enough to be a puck retriever and would help Green stay healthy. The only other partners who would be quick enough to have that job are Wideman, who I would feel shakey about together with Green, and Alzner, who is not going to be paired with anyone other than Carlson if everyone is healthy.
