Well, I just find it amazing that the United States was down to 1 aircraft carrier 1 year into the war vs Japan. Had we lost that one, the whole Pacific Ocean would have belonged to Japan. As it was, we just barely prevented the invasion of Australia.

Makes me proud to be American.
