Exactly and makes no sense, just rest your best player who you aren't trading away. If you really wanted to rest someone it should have been Frazier so they won't risk him losing value come the trade deadline.

And on that note, they should rest Polanco and Tom permanently.

Once again in Denver and barely hitting. Only getting hits from 3 batters: Frazier, Reynolds and yeah Ka'ai Tom. Let's add this sudden hitting ability for Tom jumped his avg up to an amazing .143! Tom is so bad his OBP is higher than his Slugging PCT.

With Rodriguez he won't overpower or strike out a ton but has amazing control/pitch location which makes him hard to get good contact off of.
