A little of both. USD played very physical on defense and Gonzaga took a little bit to adjust to it. Rui had an incredible night, USD couldn't stop him. Pineiro pretty much matched Hachimura on the offensive end, he had a great game. Fortunately, he was the only guy on USD to score consistently, while Norvell and Clarke also had good scoring games. Once Gonzaga got the lead into double digits early in the 2nd half, USD never managed to make a run.

Thanks. I mentioned earlier in this thread, after the BYU game, that if they show up to play and work hard, they won’t lose until the tournament, if at all.
