He was rubbish for the Halos this past season but only a -.6 WAR which is better than I thought. He's good in mop up duty I guess.

It'll never happen because they still believe they're in a window without JB and EE but the more clear it's become that they just don't have the assets to get anything significant done via trade and they're probably not going to get Fowler or anyone significant in the OF, it might make a lot more sense for this team to see what they can get for Donaldson, Tulo, Pillar, Estrada and Happ and try to contend again in 2018 or 19.

Donaldson alone will get them a massive package given he has 2 years of control left, Happ and Estrada are never going to have higher value and they could lose Estrada for nothing next winter anyway, they might have to give up some cash to get someone to take Tulo but for the right prospects it could be worth it.

I know it won't happen, but it's been a fun two years and despite the rotation it's starting to look like the team just has too many holes they need to fill that they simple don't have the financial power nor the assets to fill those holes with guys who will maintain their recent success. I'd be fine with a quick re-tool to ensure they're good for another 5-6 years rather than watch them peter out over the next couple seasons, watch the mgmt group come under pressure, watch Rogers lose interest in the club again and go back to being a laughing stock.

I still remember being pissed when the Raptors traded Bonner for fucking Nestea. Guy genuinely liked being here at a time when it seemed like no NBA'er wanted to be here. He even got Canadian citizenship 3 years after leaving the Raps. Was glad to see him get two rings on the Spurs. Just an all around good dude.
