Well shit. I just got off work and missed the game.

Sorry Pix, Dare, and Darkstone. I was really hoping the Pirates would get the win and we'd get to face off on the next round. Bummer. You all deserved better. Condolences.

I'm just bummed because the team deserved a freaking chance this postseason. I'm convinced they could've done some damage in a series...but a single game is a single game. The second that ball cleared the wall, they were done. Really need to win the division. The irony is, the Pirates finally got into the playoffs when the extra wild card began, and have really been slighted by it. They've had the first wild card two years in a row, and if they'd done this a few years earlier, they'd be in a series. Blahhhh. Sidenote: I still like the second wild card, it rewards division winners and creates extra drama. But my team has to deal with the poo-head Cards every dang year.

Yes, yes he did. Just pisses me off that if this weren't just a one game deal, I think the Pirates actually match up stronger in like a 5 or even a 3 game series as they could roll Liriano and Cole.

That stinks. I will probably miss a bit on my drive home. The good news is I will now be "working" at home tomorrow so I will be able to watch that one.
