OT - I'm bored, Part 2!

I'm sorry to hear that. Is she also not getting taller, or just not gaining weight? And if there is something wrong, do the doctors have a theory as to what?

Last month was when they brought up their concern over her weight. They wanted us to try feeding her more and come back in a month. When we took her back, she only gained .4oz, and they want us to try mixing formula with the breast milk in addition to increased feedings.

If they see no significant change in her weight in another month, they want to do a battery of tests and see if something is wrong with the way she digests and handles the milk.

Now I have another month to worry about what's going to happen.

It's hard to know what's wrong when all she can do for everything is cry. She gives the saddest face I have ever seen sometimes.

My daughter is 5 months old and weighs less than 12 pounds.

Doctors are concerned something might be wrong.
