This is Bones. He adopted us, thanks to the Nevada SPCA, five years ago when he was 5 months old and recovered from Parvo. He's actually a CHUG. Chihuahua-Pug mix.

So my youngest boxer puppy Anakin ate a ball. Yep a ball. It was one of those Dino egg soft balls with a squeaker. He started choking and stopped breathing a short while. I gave him a doggy version of the heimlich and he fired it out and was good to go like nothing happened anyways anything smaller that he can enclose in his mouth is now going In the garbage

Good job Mattola! Earlier last week our hound Thriller was choking on a flat chunk of rawhide. He could still breathe but I had to pull it out of his throat. Made me nervous but what you went through would really be scary. I am going to go learn how to do that doggie Heimlich right now on Youtube or wherever I can find it. I should already know it.

Very sad story that ends in an interesting way. Assuming these dog owners are really good people who just didn't have another option, it ends up working out pretty good. Thought this would be a good story for this thread. Such a cute little dog too.

He's a one year-old Smooth-Haired Fox Terrier that I just got from the local SPCA. He's (hopefully) fully grown, but still has plenty of 'puppy' energy in him.

Lizzie, my 15 year-old cat, is not amused ATM...

My girlfriend doesn't like my dog, so I appeal to you.

She is a purebred from a wealthy area and I have had her 4 years. She likes to play games. Not totally trained. Has long hair so she's a little high maintenance, especially the nails, but she loves having them done. Stays up all night yapping but sleeps while I work. Only eats the best, most expensive food. Will NEVER greet you at the door after a long day or give you unconditional love when you're down. Does not bite but she can be mean as hell!

So........anyone interested in my 30 year old, selfish, wicked, gold-digging girlfriend? Come and get her! Me and my dog want her re-homed!!
