I was chatting with a friend in Vancouver. Apparently, a calico cat wandered into his yard and seemed to be lost. He fed it and gave it water, and after a few days it accepted him. His wife is a vet, so she discovered the cat was chipped, but that happened in Kuwait so she couldn't get any info. They started posting local notices, and found the owners about ten miles away.

When this happened, they wondered why the cat picked their home to rejoin society. As they drove into their driveway, they saw a gold pickup like the one they drive, and a white SUV like the one they drive. When the front door opened, out ran two white labs like the six my friend and his wife have. They were very excited and happy to see their little cat sister.

One of my friend's dogs is named Mimi. And so is the cat.

It's amazing how mad I can get my wife at me when my dog cries/whines/howls in his sleep and I scream "shut the fuck up Balto!".
It makes owning a pet worthwhile

Tybee celebrated her second birthday today with ice cream. The rubber cactus was destroyed in minutes.

We had our old heat pump swapped out over the last 2 days. They had to change the heat exchanger attached to the furnace to accommodate the new refrigerant. So there was a lot of banging and booming.

Odin and Loki spent Thursday hiding under the toilet in our powder room.

We wised up and thought this was a much better option. Hiding under a blanky is a safe place.

Yesterday was my dog's birthday too. Well according to my wife. He got a Nudge last night to celebrate. It may not seem like much, but he absolutely loves them.

That is why the following is going to happen:

1) Buy a airhorn.

2) Seat to my wife left so i can hear it.

3) Every time that happens. Blast the airhorn.

Yesterday was my dog's birthday too. Well according to my wife. He got a Nudge last night to celebrate. It may not seem like much, but he absolutely loves them.

June 12th was Loki and Odin's 1st birthday.

They got extra Scoobie snacks (treats) that day.
