I saw an article today that said a Massachusetts legislator has introduced a bill to ban the declawing of cats unless the cat's health is in danger. So far, only New York and Maryland ban the procedure. Good. It should be illegal everywhere.

They said one reason people do this is to avoid being scratched if the people take anticoagulants. Fuck that. I take anticoagulants and I'll put up with it if it means having a happy, healthy cat. Or two.
