I phone the SPCA on Monday to ask why it’s taking so long to get Nimbus’ ashes back.
They said they’d phone me back.
Nothing but crickets.
So I phoned today. Got a different person.
They haven’t even sent him away yet and I brought him in on Nov 12.
Apparently the investigation is still ongoing.

Crazy.

The boys getting along famously observing "birdies in the rhodo" outside my son's bedroom window.

We have about 8 squirrels in our backyard. We tried to count but they’re really hard to track. Some are the same colour as the one in that clip. But we have the black ones as well. My wife says these are invasive. And because she says it must be so.

I just know I like watching them jumping from tree to tree in a way I’d love to be able to.
