OT: I love my pet

We lost our old cat Emily about a month ago. She was 14 and her kidneys had failed. We miss her.

A week and a half ago we got another rescue cat. Whiskey is an orange tabby, male, playful and friendly with everyone. It only took a week for him to make friends with Snowflake, a two-year-old Siamese. Whiskey is even more of a lap cat than Emily was.

Wow, the last 48 hours has sure made me glad we got pet insurance!

Our 16 week old poodle somehow found a stash of socks and other laundry.

We took him to the animal hospital after pooping out 2 socks and vomiting out another!

Turns out they found 3 more in his stomach along with 3 face masks and a hair scrunchy!!

needless to say he isn’t feeling well and neither is my wallet after forking over our portion of the $4100 bill.

I always joked about/thought about naming a per Whiskey. Good choice!

It's national dog day so here is Balto. Despite us providing him with lots of evidence - he's still an Anti-vaxxer but we still like him and feed him.
