Tybee went to the vet yesterday. This is her reaction after having her temperature taken (and it wasn't orally)
We lost our little calico Emily earlier this year. She passed petty quickly of kidney failure. The dog and the other cat seemed to be searching for her and even mourning. After a few weeks we picked up Whiskey, a rescue kitten, who is very friendly and playful.
Whiskey is going to be a terror with the Christmas tree. Everything is a toy,, you know.
Fingers crossed for my buddy. Routine annual checkup has him having high liver levels. After months of supplements they are higher than ever. Now they are testing for Cushings disease, which oddly enough my previous dog had. Hopefully not.
Yeah it sucks. It can be expensive to treat and some dogs do not respond. This guy's tests for Cushing's have come back negative which is good. But his liver levels are still high so we do not know whats going on. Right now we are just seeing how it goes. He seems fine, no symptons of anything beyond the test results.I had a husky that got cushings. That was not a fun thing to go through. sorry.
