It's hard to tell what an animal will do in a situation like that. Hopefully the other cat there will be a calming influence on the kitten. He GF has two cats and a dog. We're going on a 10 day cruise next month. Somebody will come in and feed the cats, but the dog is too destructive and needs constant attention, so the cats stay home, like they always do, and the dog will spend 23 hours a day in a cage.
GF is most concerned that the kitten will miss us. We got her from rescue, and we're the only people she's ever had.
The other cat will just be happy to be without a giant dog for a while.
thanks man. I watched that about 4 or 5 times and LMAO every time
I finally figured out how to post a video on Instagram
This is why I missed the WJHC this year
We had to say goodbye to our dear Rogue. She developed cancer and it progressed rapidly over the last month. Her left lung recently collapsed and her body started to give out. She was so very dear to us and so full of love, energy and passion. She runs free with so many of our babies long before her and while we only had her a short while we loved her so strong and her back to us. She passed in our arms surrounded by love and Anakin kisses. Thank you everyone who met her, she was so special and we will never forget her. Run free my dear lovey girl... We love you..
So sorry to hear that. I had to give up my dog last year and I hadn't really recovered until (see post below)....
Latest addition to the family -- Jaco (Pastorius). He's a 9 week old Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever, mix...
After I had to put Rocket down (my only pet as an adult) after 14 years, we waited about 5 months before we got a new dog. My wife pushed for it. I think it was too soon for me, for a few months everything the new guy did bad really bothered me and I didn't a whole lot of enjoyment out of him. And the odd thing was he was pretty well behaved right away, he was almost 7 months old so he had grown out of a lot of the puppy stuff. I just kept comparing to my old dog, or the idea of my old dog and holding it against him. I wasnt mean or anything, just kind of aloof I guess.
All is well now, I see and enjoy him for the goofy little guy he is.
That's a good looking dog.
Thanks for sharing that. I'm glad you've been able to turn your perspective around.
haha, it's funny to read this because I can relate so well. The 2 I showed above absolutely love me and follow me everywhere, want to lay next to me, etc. and it drives my wife nuts. She wants them to love her more than me...but they don'tPart of the silver lining might be that this dog, while he loves me, favors my wife and follows her around. The previous dog was the opposite and it bothered my wife at times. So now she has a shadow and it makes her happy.
