My wife worked as a vet tech at various places for year, she used to volunteer to sit with the animals when they would wake up from surgery. Usually the animal is terrified and a person being nice really comforts them.

Sadly our dear T2 was put down today. Stage 4 renal failure. Softest cat ever. No place better for a cold hand than right in that big white belly.

House seems empty. Good thing we still have Nimbus and my daughter is here with her 2 cats as well.

Nice to have the distractions...

Meet Indiana Jones, aka Indy. He will never replace our dear T2, but he comes close...

1 year old Russian Blue, had been hit by a car and surrendered to SPCA.

He's ours now and we're happy to have him.

We have had our amazing black lab for just over 4 years now, but recently decided to get another dog from the humane society.

We both fell in love with a 2 month old Plott Hound, so now we have 2 dogs, one of which is a puppy that I get to train

My dog got loaded New Year's Eve and paid for it the next day.

Beautiful dog, his color is similar to mine*. Looks a bit like him too, mine was a rescue so we are not certain what he is. Wonder if he is part Plott?

Yeah, I have never heard of a Plott Hound this one. But he is absolutely great and they are a fun bread. 2 days into it and he is smart as whip.
