We picked up a 3 month old long haired Chihuahua last night. She was a little groggy and the "breeder" said it was a reaction to her shots they gave her. Daisy is now staying at the vet for observation and medication. She's got something viral that people can catch and her body temperature is low. We have to keep an eye on the corgi to see if she caught it. The "breeder" deserves a **** punt.

On the bright side, she should recover. We got the stench from that house washed out of her. Tybee is bursting at the seams to play with Daisy and she'll have a good home now.

Daisy update: the vet kept her for about four hours and we were able to bring her home that night. She's making a good recovery and was playful the next day. The breeder gave us $200 for the vet bill.

We think Tybee might be showing signs of getting either virus. We've been watching her, so we'll be starting meds for her.
