The officiating has been flat out ignorant at best. Phantom fouls, and no calls. both sides have a lot to complain about. Ridiculous.

Also, UC has been forcing the ball to Sean instead of continuing to have other guys step up. Temple has shut down Sean, and UC has not been able to stop Pepper. How hard is it to simply not let someone catch the damn ball? Don't even let him catch it. Period.

No doubt about that. Apparently this is something he deals with often. He has a "soft spot" in his ankle. They are pretty sure he should be ready to go against LOU.

Nyarsuk played better than I think he'll get credit for. He had 2 fouls called on him that were total BS. Not to mention Kilpatrick got called for a foul when he tipped out the rebound on a missed FT, and was called for a foul despite never touching any player at all. Makes no sense how bad these officials are. This year, I've seen more phantom calls, non calls than I can remember. But the biggest thing, I've seen several blatant incorrect calls because officials didn't know their own rules to the game. Fouls are give and take. It's hard to argue with a lot of them, but basic rules should be known. It's ridiculous.

On the road, down one of your best players, and you squeeze out a win. It's solid all the way around.

Yeah, would have been nice to keep a 10-15pt margin, but that white boy was making everything. With Jackson out, Cronin said he could use Rubles to guard him, since he was in the post.

It's going to be a tough game. One I would expect Louisville to win.

However, they are not nearly as deep in the front court now that Behanan is gone. UC actually can match up with them pretty well.

Stay in front of Smith and keep him out of the paint is 80% of their offense. Once he's in the paint, the defenses collapse and he passes to the open guy. Keep him out of the paint, and make sure tabs are kept on the white guy...he can shoot, and that's about it.

As long as Jackson is back, the matchup is there for UC to hang tough.

Despite being on the road for UCF and Rutgers, those should be wins. Home wins over USF and HOU are likely.

That's 4 right there.

They still get Memphis at home, as well as 2 with LOU and UConn Home/away. Figure at least a split with either UConn or Lou, and take care of Memphis at home...that's 6 wins...

Split with the other team we have 2 left with, and that's 7 wins. Steal a win @SMU, and you get 8.

As long as they don't completely fall flat, UC is just fine.
