Wisconsin had no business being in the Big 10 title game. If it weren't for sanctions they would have finished 3rd in their division. I don't believe there should be any automatic qualifiers into the big bowl games. Teams like Georgia, LSU, South Carolina would all kick Wisconsin's ASS!!

Comparing the NFL to College is ridiculous. The only thing the two have in common is mediocrity. I grew up in So. Cal & I have a number of relatives who went to USC & UCLA & I really don't give a rats ass about tradition. I want to see the best teams play each other period.

I think there should be a playoff for the Natty and let the BCS bowls be traditional matchups. More games - so advertisers are happy. More quality match ups, so fans are happy. And the traditionalists don't have to worry about losing their tradition.

They are. Wisconsin won the Big Ten by Beaton Nebraska like a drum in the field and not having a program that cheated or covered up child r*pe.

I can see an issue with NIU or Louisville (sort of) but brig pissed a Wisconsin is stupid. They won their conference on the field of play.

And I don't think this is going to be the beating you think it is. Wisconsin has lost five games this year, true. Two by field goals and the other three in overtime. We didn't even try against Penn State and then we went out and stomped the (at the time) number twelve team in the country to win the conference championship. Stanford is ranked eighth; eight isn't much better than twelve.

Stanford's strength on defense is it's front 7. Their weakness is in the secondary. Wisconsin CAN'T throw the football. Heck they won a game while only throwing the ball 8 times.

Maybe Stanford will take Wisconsin lightly. We shall see. I think it's going to be a very boring football game.

BCS pretty much ruined all the tradition in the bowl games anyway. Since the BCS was implemented 5 of 15 Rose Bowls have not featured a Pac-10/12 vs Big 10 matchup. No SEC team in the Sugar Bowl last year. NIU in the Orange Bowl over the Big East. Sure they still try to get the old matchups when they can, but the tradition is gone.
