Vee's stance on politics is horrid anyway. I'd prolly just disagree with whatver it is and start arguing with her.

So did you read the text of the video that Mattola posted? Fuckhead.

Well said! ;)

Far and away the majority of union stories that I have heard in the last 25 are negative ones that bother me, I just do not think they should be gone.

Which is exactly what is wrong with this country. Nothing but negative stories yet they are so deeply rooted in this country so we shouldn't get rid of them and make a change for the better.

We have an obvious problem but we are not going to fix it.

This ^

I've worked in two unions and had a bad experience with both. I've had people tell me they wouldn't help me because it wasn't "part of their job description" numerous times. I've had people walk out after a huge paint spill just occurred because the break buzzer went off "I'll clean it on their time when I'm getting paid", etc......things of that nature, and the list goes on. Their were some hard workers too in the union, they were just few and far between.

In my humble opinion, the Unions should stay, but they should have 1/3rd of the power that they currently possess. Even though I don't agree with a lot of the union behavior in the recent past and also where they're heading in the future.....if they disappear completely though, it would be a bad, bad thing.

i dont know how it works in the states ... many of the big banks here in canada that issue debit cards usually have transaction fees for every purchase

/someone buys a dollar coffee and pays a 50 cent transaction fee lol

I never carry cash anymore. I pay 12 bucks a month for unlimited transactions on my debit (actually, it's the wife who does so don't quote me on that amount).

Although honestly, I'm seriously thinking of pulling my cash from CIBC and going to a credit union; so back to cash it would probably be.

I'm mad at myself for buying a house in May of 2007. I'm mad at the Government for trying to "stimulate" the housing market by giving people up to $8,000 two years later to people who are now buying homes at extremely discounted prices. Why not give me the money so that I can feel better about losing $50K on my house in a 1 year span when it's in a nice area.....

Fucking A. I bought my house October of 2006. I should have known better, I should have seen it coming, I'm kicking myself in the fucking ass for buying. But I needed a home for my family, I was sick of renting, so I bought what I figured would be a "starter home". Now, I can actually afford something nicer and I want to upgrade, but I'm fucking upside down as shit on my mortgage because the prices dropped so hard and there are forclosed homes selling for 10k all over the place. FML.
