OT: euro 2012 tournament thread

France blanked 2-0 their last two games - I wonder if Sweden could have given Spain a tougher game today.

They were showing the replay and the first goal was pretty much a blunder with Malouda not track Alonso back. Thing is he did the very same thing without tracking a player back in the Sweden game, which that play ended in a goal for Sweden.

I think France had internal issues with players not seeing eye to eye. I wouldn't be surprised if it tracks back to Nasri, who has displayed this in the past having disputes with some senior French players and coach. If noticed, Nasri did not start the game for France....was this the coach punishing him.....wait to see what comes out if anything is leaked on what was happening behind closed doors.

England just loves to disappoint. They played like they were just happy to be there. I think they would have had a better chance of winning if they'd gone down early in the second half - might force them to try something offensively.
