I gotta admit, I found myself cheering for Spain. 'Boring', my ass. Passing and possession like that is a thing of beauty. They work so cohesively. If you were to make the best team in the world, you'd either take the whole Spanish team (plus maybe Van Persie) or almost none of them - they are the ultimate example of "sum greater than the parts".

They might be remembered one day as one of the best national squads of all time. Three straight tourneys, no losses in so long, no goals against (ball posession is the best defense, apparently)...
