Did Carr take a pay cut or get released yet? That guy is fucking terrible. His contract is more of an albatross than prince fielders.

He took a pay cut but he doesnt suck any less because of it. The Cowboys surely need to upgrade the secondary to compete w the receivers in the NFCE, however they are still taking fliers on injured LB'ers and taking RB's with their top pick

He took a rather substantial pay cut.

That said, he's far from "fucking terrible" and calling his contract an "albatross" is beyond ridiculous. But then again, you seem to insist on the overstatement, so, so-be-it.

He was for sure considered one of the most over paid players in the league, so I entirely get his frustration. I've spent enough time screaming at Carr for not being worth his contract. I can stomach him a lot more with the pay cut and a healthy Scandrick.

Damn unrelated note it's raining sheets in my new part of the world. Hopefully the damn cable guy shows up today so I don't have to use my phone...

They say his pay cut helped in standing pat and taking Elliott. At least he did something finally to help the Cowboys.

Why do you say DB makes the most sense?

What I should have said is, "most of the little I've read/heard seems to lean in the DB direction."

For me, since he played some WR at TCU, and his size, don't know why he wouldn't at least get a chance at the wideout position.

So Raiders take Cook. Cowboys needed a DE anyway, so they might have helped Dallas out by taking away the temptation for Cook.

I would be okay with that if he's still available. Idk I'm so meh about drafting QBs. That seems like the toughest position to know if a guy will work out or not.

Concur with both you guys. But I'm not expecting him to be there. In fact, I thought he'd be gone by now.
