OT: Conspiracy Theory

Bare with me here. I watch the program Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura and my father has been watching it as well... we have vastly different views in our thinking... and we got into a discussion today about people believing what the government says/does and those who question it... now, the biggest conspiracy we can think of for America is, JKF assassination... what are some of your opinions on this... who killed Kennedy?

My apologies my canadien friends... your answer is more than welcome as well, if you have given any thought into the matter...

I wouldn't doubt if the mafia played a role in it. Both John and Robert were going hard against organized crime. That's just one theory. Some think the CIA, some think the Russians.

As a teen I really believed there was a conspiracy of sorts to kill JFK. I read a ton about it for a couple years and the more I read the more I was convinced that there was no conspiracy.

His shows can be a bit scary.... if any part of them are true.

Honestly, not really. I don't know a lot about it, and I just take what the government gives me.

That said, I don't think it was possible for one shooter to complete the shots in the time the film indicates they happened in. So yeah, I am pretty convinced there was more than one shooter.

Was it the mob? Russia? Lyndon Johnson? Unions? Our own government? That's where it gets ridiculous.

All I know is that this country suffered pretty bad because of it. If nothing else because he was committed to keeping us out of Vietnam. Johnson was not...

In my junior year of high school (IIRC) in history or social studies or whatever the class was called we had to write a paper on who we thought killed JFK. A buddy of mine and I wrote a paper, and I really don't remember exactly how it fit together, but it was about how the hit was set up by the Vatican who paid off the mob to kill Kennedy. The teacher enjoyed it. I have it in a huge bin of old papers I really should go try to find it.
