yep real band with actual songs from the 90's.. mostly obscure. I was a big fan and even Im surprised they made this docu/mockumentary (although they had a lyric in an old song hinting they would heh)

I love it. a few years after The Headstones were playing at the Commodore and for whatever reason there was maybe 100 people there (maybe less). It was so empty so they played anyway and Hugh Dillon came onto the floor between sets and started talking to people. I got to talking to him and we talked about Hard Core Logo lol. He was amazed that he met someone that watched it. We talked about it for about 15 mins. He was super great. I had a beer he had a water and we just hung out talking about that movie. It was great.

I liked it well enough from about the first minute on - it at least looked mostly fun from that point on. I say that as a casual Superman fan, one that never read the comics, watched any TV shows (besides the old black and white ones lol), and mainly just liked the first few Christopher Reeves movies. I haven't liked any of the movies since - Brandon Routh was really good I thought, the movie just sucked.
I just think Superman movies should be fun and not super serious, and it kind of looks like Gunn is aiming for that. I dont know anything about any Green Lanterns but Fillion's look is just distracting how weird it is.

yeah I heard that about Fillion. Guy Gardners Green Lantern is the least liked GL. He is a massive prick so that is probably why I liked him lol

Anyone watch "The Eternaut"? Argentinian show on Netflix. I binged it. Based on a comic book. Different in that the bogeyman is a moving target (so to speak) episode by episode lol. Each episode is a new discovery.
