we watched this Saturday night when my wife went *click* during the Canucks Bruins game and announced to us all "OK FAMILY XMAS MOVIE TIME!!!" ... I give it a 7 out of 10 ... had its moments ... at the end I said "watch theyre gonna go out with a Mariah Carey xmas song" ... nailed it lol

honestly looks like Cosplay made a movie. The costumes look exactly as poor as the leaked images showed. I do trust in James Gunn but I do not know if this will be successful. I just hope they have an actual plan this time for the characters and not just one off movies. Happy to see

I could be wrong, and not that I have high expectations, but I think its a bad trailer. The footage by itself looks fine to me. Slowing it down with the slow music looked odd. And I don't know who any of the villains besides Lex are. so maybe they look bad and I just don't know.

I hope there isn't too much Lois in the trailer, or people think shes Jewish. And I hope the non-white kid pushing up the flag doesn't upset people.

Tenacious D's Kyle Gass is an interesting choice for John Kent. In all seriousness Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen is a pretty great choice.

The trailer isn’t great, and the only thing keeping me intrigued is the callback to John Williams' original score. Outside of Lex (I think Nicholas Hoult will deliver something close to who Luthor is unlike Jesse Eisenberg from Batman vs Superman) and the dinosaur, there are no other clear villains. The rest of the characters are unfamiliar to me (I’m much more of a Marvel fan than DC), so I looked them up. They mostly seem to fall into the “anti-hero hero” category—like Drax, Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, and Rocket. There’s a clear theme here: heroes operating in a morally grey area, wanting to do good but without limitations.

Clark Kent—the broccoli hair has to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. On the flip side, I love Guy Gardner’s bad haircut as the Green Lantern. It’s at least accurate to the comics.

I just hope James Gunn has a solid plan here and isn’t just throwing in cameos for the sake of it, like Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern or bringing in Hawkgirl. (For what it’s worth, Hawkman and Doctor Fate were the only good things in Black Adam, so I hope Hawkgirl lives up to that standard.) But what is Gunn trying to do? Is he forming a Justice League? Or is he repeating Black Adam’s mistake of randomly adding heroes?

Gunn claimed The Flash was an amazing movie (this was after he took over DC and scrapped the Batgirl movie), but if that was just marketing hype to fill seats, my hope isn’t high. I want to be wrong as I’d love a truly hopeful Superman movie.

One thing that stands out is the complete absence of Supergirl in the trailer, even though it’s no secret that she’s in the movie. That decision is interesting.
