Probably Hiro Murai had influence there. Stuff he touches has been gold

Or maybe he had nothing to do with it lol. There were a number of guest stars on Atlanta which he was also a part of.

But it sounds like actors just wanted to be in it because they liked it so much

Really thought he might reprise his role of Shane from Walking Dead there

also we talked Uncut Gems before ... only Uncut Gems has made my heart beat kick it up a notch

Oh I guess looking back I like Uncut Gems more as time goes by. Also watching bits and pieces now and then on TV is less stressful than seeing it all at once in the theater.

Also remember when @elocomotive posted that he was searching for the "original Chicago beef" but meant something completely different?

If you like The Bear you might also like Reservation Dogs which just came back for its 3rd and final season. It's great.

You might also like Grand. It was on NBC from January to December 1990 and starred Pamela Reed, Bonnie Hunt, Sara Rue, and Michael McKean. Season 2 should be on soon!

Saw Oppenheimer a few nights ago. Incredible movie that I would highly recommend.

Anyhow this post is about this movie which was shown as a coming attraction which I can’t wait to see.

/back to Oppenheimer, if Robert Downey Jr. is not nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actor something is seriously wrong

Reservation Dogs - Deer Lady episode, so good. The scene after she does what she does and is shaken but regains her composure and defiance as she walks across the yard....so good.

Only Murders In The Building - decent start. I like them all but Martin Short effortlessly steals every scene.

the 70s had the best intros

Many of the 70s show intros were better than shows. My father made no concession in his TV viewing for kids, the 5-8 year olds watched what he wanted to watch. Lots of great intros that made me think they wouldnt be too bad, followed by a show of people sitting around talking. At least it seemed that way to us.

Hes only on his feet "unassisted" at the end of the movie ... strong emotive performances by the actors ... sad ... viscious circle of obesity on full display. The characters you think are hero types are just enablers ... Im glad I watched it but all in all it gets an ok from me

The Flash was a horrific movie, just absolutely brutal.
.
Cgi is so bad I think they knew it was going to fail so they stopped putting money into it hoping Michael Keaton would bring in $$. And the other things they did in that movie were just laughable. Ill spoiler tag the big ones

Start of the movie had me laughing so hard when that nurse literally THREW the baby out the window of the collapsing building that it set the tone that this movie was going to be a car accident
the Christopher Reeve Cameo was the worst CGI I have ever seen, it looked like he was melting
the Nicholas Cage Superman Cameo actually got a WTF out of me verbally... that was so cringe worthy
Supergirl was the worst written character they could have introduced. The actress was fantastic (and looked even better) but they made her so weak

even Michael Keaton as batman could not redeem this movie
and lastly that fucking cameo of George Clooney as Bruce Wayne at the end the biggest piece of garbage ever shown. They literally just threw in whatever ingredient they had in the cupboard they could. This was outright laughable.

only good thing that can come out of this movie is that Ezra Miller is DONE on this Franchise. .... he better be done

Ugh, a guy I work with loves loves loves it and a couple times a week asks if I've watched it yet. He saw a preview, bought it digitally, and can't wait for me to see it so we can talk about it. Looks awful to me and his opinions are usually awful so I plan to never see. I do like the way Supergirl looks.
Might be easier to get a new job.

By the way, I did see the main cameo scene, the effects looked like something that would have been done on the CW circa 2000.
