I saw 'The Whale' last night - I thought it was excellent and Brendan Fraser should be up for an Oscar.

I haven't seen that yet but I have thought he has been excellent in a few things. Gods And Monsters is very good but has excellent performances from Fraser and Ian McKellen.

I watched See How They Run on HBO because Sam Rockwell is on of my favorite actors*. I thought it was a really fun movie. Saoirse Ronan is fantastic.

I know it's too much of a genre film to get Oscar consideration, but Mia Goth should be up for it for Pearl.

No spoilers of course, but her monologue is incredibly well delivered.

I am not sure I ever laughed so hard at a serious movie like I did twice at the end of War For The Planet Of The Apes. I saw it at a work function in a crowded theater and had to put my head down I was laughing so hard.
