Squid Game on Netflix was a wild ride. Very Hunger Gamesish. Also reminded me of another solid show on Netflix, Alice in Borderland.

Y: The Last Man on Fx/Hulu is surprisingly watchable for being in development hell for so long. The first episode is the worst so far, partially due to terrible acting by the men (makes sense, why hire good actors to die right away) but even that's not to bad and all the rest move quickly.

Another pretty solid episode. Really well done, the cable/streaming shows can get really creative.

Mr. Corman on Apple was very creative and well acted but just canceled. I get it though, the first half was pretty depressing.

I thought Black Widow was good. Nothing great but fun. I'm a fan of Florence Pugh.

one zombie show i liked was Dead Set (maybe already talked about on here) - british, zombie world breaks out during the filming of a "Big Brother" type reality show. It came out in 2013 but I think I only just watched it in the past couple years. only 5 episodes and theyre short ... easy and fun binge imo

I think that was a very interesting show. First season I watched and thought it was OK but could have stopped watching at any time. I started season 2 because of good reviews and I thought it was a huge improvement over season 1. From there on out I thought it was very good. I still kind of thought it might be better with a different lead actor, but he grew on me by the end. And I am amazed how good he is in The Boys.
