This snippet was very True Detective season 2

Hopefully they merge with someone or license other outlets to stream their shows. According to what I read nothing on AppleTV gets many viewers at all except for Ted Lasso. They have a lot of good stuff which cannot be cheap to produce, so eventually they will get tired of losing money.

Robert Downey Jr's first Oscar? I thought he won for Doolittle?!?

Did Strays win?

I watched Poor Things last night, Emma was pretty great in it.

"Air" was pretty solid. Damon is really good at everyman roles

Ricky Stanicky up next for you on Prime? Its a shame that the timing of the movies release will hurt John Cenas 2024 Oscars chances

Not sure I can watch that. Even with a Farrelly behind it it looks bad. I usually like Cena well enough, Blockers had a few laughs.
When I saw him off Broadway in Death Of A Salesman I was really impressed.

Bottoms is really really dumb but I laughed a lot.
Marshawn is fun as a teacher (Oscar in future?). Cindy Crawford's daughter looks just like her. Pretty girls and violence.

I am not sure you all have noticed but I have been on a Godzilla binge/kick lately..... I am watching them in preparation for the new Godzilla x Kong movie due out at the end of the month.

I just recently watch Kong: Skull Island and I honestly can not remember if I really enjoyed it the first time I watched it a few years ago. If I didnt I apologize because it was just fantastic. it actually has the best human story of them all (the others are just human trash) and really ties in Monarch the company. (some inconsistencies with that to the TV show and in Godzilla: King of the Monsters but passable).

8/10

David Lynch is recalling a day in 1981 when, he says, he "rescued" five Woody Woodpecker toys that he saw hanging up as he drove past a petrol station.

"I screech on the brakes, I do a U-turn, go back and I buy them and I save their lives," he says seriously. "I named them Chucko, Buster, Pete, Bob and Dan and they were my boys and they were in my office. They were my dear friends for a while but certain traits started coming out and they became not so nice."

Looking straight ahead he says with a grim finality: "They are not in my life anymore."

I'm working on a Gonzaga Minus One joke for March Madness. It's not ready yet, but it's going to be tremendous.

Shatner just can't help being a dick.

That said, he would be willing to return to the Star Trek universe under the right circumstances, so long as it wasn’t a “stunt” like Leonard Nimoy’s cameo in the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie. Shatner states, “If they wrote something that wasn’t a stunt that involved Kirk, who’s 50 years older now, and it was something that was genuinely added to the lore of Star Trek, I would definitely consider it.”

5 years ago he was begging JJ to be in one of the new movies. And Nimoy's role was more than a cameo stunt IMO. And now he's siding with Roddenberry? He used to mock him.

I'll give Furiosa a shot despite usually being annoyed by prequels and the trailer looking average. I did not think the trailer for the Fury Road looked good but ended up thinking it was fantastic. Since George Miller is directing again, I have hopes

i am not sure why another Alien movie in Space is needed.

you are NOT recreating the masterpiece and Alien was a masterpiece.

all it is doing is getting some jump scares and most likely gore.
