Mississippi St.vs Alabama, Auburn vs Georgia look like the games to watch for play off births this week. I'm picking Alabama and Georgia. Good luck Tech and longhorns.

I would like to see Miss St win as I am tired of Alabama. Will be a good one to watch. Not sure about your Georgia pick because their defense is so bad but Auburn was squeaking by teams until they lost last week to A&M. Could be interesting. In other words I have no idea who will win that game.

I'm afraid you're right on the key game - MS St/Bama - but I'm rooting for MS St to end this reign of terror, and clear up the top spots. At least a little anyway.

Big game for my Vols to come through and against a much improved KY team and take a step toward becoming bowl eligible.

I will send you a quote which you may find amusing:

Tom Friend (some ESPN talking head) just said on live TV while in Mississippi, "well this is a state that is 1st in obesity, last in healthcare, and last in education. They have been looking for something to be hopeful for and now there is this!" [speaking of the success of Ol Miss and State football].

Georgia will have their star running back again this week. that's why I picked them. Vegas picks Alabama although MS is ranked higher so who knows.

The line is somewhere between 8-10 points in the Bama game. I find this most surprising. Certainly would favor Bama, but 10 points to the # 1 team.

I guess this is why they play the game.

I'm cheering for S Carolina to beat the Gators, MS St over Bama, Miami to upset Fl St (I've seldom if ever supported those sorry assholes), and the Gophers to upset Ohio State.

Never know about the spread. College football is much fun and excitement. Lived in Bama seven years so I root for them and because of the BEAR. He established so much history in the sport. With ya on Miami and SC. Have a great day!

Oklahoma should beat Tech but will be interesting after losing so badly to Baylor last week. Losing Knight won't help much either but a change at qb may prove to be a good thing for the Sooners.

TCU, even if they now win, have totally screwed themselves outta the conversation for the final four. You just can't beat the Jayhawks late and have any hopes of making the big four IMO.

Roll Tide!!!!!!!

No disrespect meant, but screw the Tide!

Ignorant, arrogant, self righteous. Have no use for em whatsoever.

Sorry DT.

My brother went to school and played basketball at Birmingham Southern, and I worked with a lot of those inbreed dogs overseas. Can tell ya for a fact, those guys give/gave the south a bad name and loved every minute of it.

I really hope the polls do not have Miss St and Alabama in the top 4. I do not want any conference to have 2 teams in that final group.

Bama will be. The question is will the polls let MS remain?

That will probably happen if they beat miss when they play them.

I think you may be right.

Next up are Ohio State and Baylor, from a potential in the # 4 position.
