Thanks. I think we're going to see more guys from the CFL get a chance in the NFL in coming years. Vaughn Martin has been given a chance to play with the Chargers & is doing well so far. It's not his fault their secondary sucks.

As far as Lulay goes, I think if he was a glutton for punishment he would have tried sticking around on nfl practice rosters for a couple more years to wait til he got his shot. The Seahawks had him a couple of times but like puckhead said ... he's someone who doesnt pass the "eye test" ... not an athletic specimen BUT most importantly, he's from a small university and an NFL team didnt invest in him as an early round draft pick. We all know those QB's get chance after chance because teams dont wanna admit they wasted a second round pick on the guy.

I point to Dave Dickenson who maybe you remember was a perennial 3rd string/practice roster guy for the Chargers. Norv Turner called him one of the smartest Qb's he ever coached yet no other team saw that or was willing to give him a shot because he was small and he came from U of Montana

As far as Calvillo, imo, he could have been Latino Kurt Warner if anyone ever gave him a shot (i see dash made that point already)

Buono almost stepped in it ... heard the sound bite and his response was awkward to say the least

I didn't watch the TSN clip, but there was reference to a change in technique that McCallum credits to improving his consistency - That 53 yarder he made as time expired to beat the Stamps gave the division to the Leos.
