I don't think a lot of people liked it but I really liked Carlito's Way. Pacino somewhat toned down, Sean Penn chewing the scenery...

I wonder if Carlito's Way was a little ahead of its time and almost too gritty for people's taste when it came out. That said, I agree with you, another great movie.

Both Pacino/DePalma movies were disliked at first but ended up being very appreciated as time went on.

That would probably sell better if they just renamed it Soylent Green

This is a great ad but raises a lot of questions to me.

So basically the ad is "want to see Maude's husband's dick? Come see this! "

If this was made now would the ad be "wonder what Sheldon's dad has going on 'downstairs'?"

Did Swamp Thing have an ad campaign "Want to see Maude's daughter's knockers? (70s term) Here you go!"

I presume a vast portion of the audience for S.O.B
was to see Blake Edward's wife's tits.

You don't think people were paying too see Richard Mulligan on the big screen?

Yep, i suspect you are right. Hopefully the ad campaign alluded to them.

Someone in our security operations group replied to an email from a vendor and copied the security team mailing list. The vendor email was explaining how he had gone to engineering on our behalf on an issue we've had, and this guy wanted to ask a follow on question. He intended to start the email with "Good Morning Dave". But, being in a hurry he wrote "Good Dave" and then jumped into his question.

It's been a roast-fest in our group chat at work. I posted a gif of someone patting a dog on the head with the text "WHO'S A GOOD DAVE? WHO'S A GOOD DAVE?"

Jenkins hung this on my office cubicle. I don't get it, how is this funny. It's not even Christmas time...
