living in Calgary we had a popular spot in the early 90s called Electric Ave. @dash would know it.... the preps would park their really nice cars and bikes in front of Three Cheers so I would ALWAYS park that beast right by them.

Yup, Three Cheers, Coconut Joe's right next door and across the street was the Fox and Firkin. After a few adult beverages, we'd get hungry and then go to Singapore Sam's for a bite.

THATS IT.. the Fox and Firkin I was trying to remember that place and couldn't remember the name. it was the LAST place standing there and had .05 cent highballs on Tuesdays. .... (so watered down)

do you remember if Three Cheers and Coconut Joes having a door that connecting them downstairs? my god Three Cheers had Molson XXX beers 3 for $9 on Thursdays and those just killed me

I didn't know about the door connecting them, but it wouldn't surprise me - I also seem to recall (maybe just a rumor) that some Flames were part-owners of Three Cheers (for some reason Paul Reinhart comes to mind as being a part-owner).

mine was a 1989 Sprint. i got tboned and the bumper split showing styrofoam
By 1989 weren't they Geo Metro's?
My next car was a 1991 version.

This were fun to because they were so light that the turbo versions kept flying off the roads. the front end would lift with all that peppy acceleration and oops, there it goes!

My cousin has collector plates on his. Lol.

He used it when he worked for CRA, as their mileage allowance was way more than what gas cost for those things.

A buddy of mine owned this car for a while (it was red) - Toyota should bring it back.

I guess this is the same scenario that happens with the Chunnel from France to England?
