That’s insane. I read that Atlanta got 14 inches of rain in the past two days but the Braves are supposed to play at home tonight, there is no way in hell that field can be ready

I've gotten much better at keeping a straight face when I need to.
I saw an eye doctor today, she was looking in my eyes from up close looking at the holes she lasered in them last year.

"Can you seem them? I read they can close" I asked.

She responded "Oh yeah, my holes always stay open"

They showed the Chattahoochee on the weather channel and it was pretty bad. I am not in Atlanta right now but would be interested to see what Lake Lanier looks like near the dam.

This was in Atlanta.

A person I went to school with, and somehow my mother still knows, owns a campground in Jonesborough TN. Apparently that's completely destroyed.
Heck of a storm

Lol anyone ever see the game show Flip Side? I thought the Orioles game was at 7:30 but it as 8 so I watched this crap. Cheap Family Feud knockoff hosted by Jaleel White. The best part was the lethargic response by both the host and the crowd - even as one team competed for the grand prize - $10,000!!!!!
Sadly they lost, but still took home $1000

A priest, a pastor, and rabbit walk into a blood donation clinic.

The nurse asks each of them their blood types.

Priest: "I'm definitely AB positive"
Pastor: "I'm pretty sure I'm B negative"
Rabbit: "I'm probably a type O"

In laws made it through with little damage and only 12 hours without power.

However close to the Gulf it was really bad flooding. The MAGA AirBNB I stayed in in July is likely gone, as is the whole neighborhood it used to be in.

Crazy how destructive the storm was and how quick it intensified.

Direct effects of 125+ years of unfettered fossil fuel burning.

God is angry
