There are plenty of good things about Alberta, but the current political climate and associated brain worms infecting a whole bunch of people is not one of them.

I lived in Alberta for half my life at one point until I moved back to Van in 98 and it was amazing. hell, my Chinese wife was born and raised in Calgary and her parents opened the first Chinese restaurant in the city.

that province is not the same as it was as you highlighted. still good people but the loudest voices are the bad ones.

I sometimes think about moving back, but I like the island and the weather and certainly don't miss shoveling snow in the winter. I don't think I would move back to Calgary if I were to move back though, as you said above Matty, when you moved back that city was the perfect size. It's way too big now and the sprawl is horrible, there's going to be close to 2 million people living there in 2030 if the current migration trends continue.
